when they hung peter upside down the cross, he became saint. But if we remove the brick,where will vitthal go?may be into asylum,to find his self, to reincarnate truly. 29th yug will bring him unemployment,so do to our devotion. but 1st We need to loose this brick somewhere.
religion it starts with something else and end up in symbols..perhaps a shorter version of amorphous slavery.
funny thing is we still call Hinduism, a religion..its not a single poem too. Full of weird and completely diff extracts of many. Anything ancient here becomes sacred or so called adhyatma,anyone with turban and saffron robe becomes a guru. If its a proper single religion, then where is the Hindu black mass.the totality removed filth and shame out of it and made it a boring poem.
in other words we all cant be either liberal or talibanist. Or by other possibility we both live along with each other. The problem is, there is less chance to generate Hindu protestants as a big mass or a kind of counter culture. There is utter confusion about what to follow as well as what to protest. So there is a lot of chance to interpret ahimsa,saty etc the way you want. The Jainism and Buddhism were derived from Hinduism in lot of context which give u a chance to a criticism without confusion(if u want to)
as Orwell says its a dis utopia. Everybody is lying with each other thinking that they are fooling everybody without getting fooled.
When people start to love their shackles, no change is possible. Status-quo is maintained to maintain this love affair. If we ask who established protestant sect in Christianity? We don't have a single name, its a work of many. But here if someone comes with such idea, they will make him god,build his temples and start to worship him. Buddha was a Hindu protestant. Now he lives in idols without his panchshil.
